Germany's Federal Network Agency has published the awards for the latest onshore wind tender, which was significantly oversubscribed.

Germany's Federal Network Agency has published the awards for the latest onshore wind tender, which was significantly oversubscribed.
For a tendered capacity of 3,443MW, 604 bids totaling 5,739MW were submitted. As a result, 376 bids totaling 3,448MW were awarded. The Agency confirmed that 25 bids had to be excluded from the tender process.
Klaus Müller, president of the Federal Network Agency, commented on the results: "The bidding session was once again heavily oversubscribed. The submitted bid volume of more than 5.7GW is the second-highest value in a tender to date. The award values fell again compared to the previous round."
