LAISON presents smart metering innovations at Kenya's NRW Management Conference
The 2026 Non-Revenue Water Management Conference was successfully held in Naivasha, Kenya, from June 30 to July 3, 2026.

Centered on the theme of "Leveraging Innovation & Technology for Non-Revenue Water Management," the event convened over 500 industry stakeholders to drive sustainable water management solutions and advance the regional goals of SDG 6 and Kenya’s Vision 2030.
At the exhibition, LAISON drew significant interest by showcasing our comprehensive range of smart metering solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
To meet diverse operational needs, our products are built with high compatibility, supporting a wide range of communication protocols such as LoRa, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, GPRS, and 4G(Cat.1). By seamlessly integrating with our Hardware Data Management System (HDMS), these technologies enable advanced features like STS prepaid billing, remote AMR/AMI data collection, and leakage detection, ultimately helping utilities boost efficiency, reduce NRW, and drive revenue growth.
During the event, the LAISON team shared the extensive experience in deploying over 1.5 million smart water meters across more than 30 countries.
By showcasing successful project milestones across Africa—including Tanzania, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Angola, Nigeria, South Africa, and others—we clearly demonstrated LAISON's robust project delivery capabilities and profound technical expertise within the African market. These achievements drew significant attention from the delegates, leading to in-depth discussions regarding the specific operational challenges and conditions of their respective regions.
While the conference has concluded, the journey toward digital water loss reduction has only just begun. The overwhelming interest and positive feedback we received underscore the critical need for smarter water management across the region.
Moving forward, LAISON remains steadfast in our commitment to empowering African utilities with localized, high-performance solutions. We look forward to building on these new partnerships to overcome infrastructure challenges, drive sustainable growth, and ensure a more water-secure future for all.
