Posted on: 24 October 2024

This live webcast will look at how you can cope with the significant scale of consumer energy resources and uncertainties of LV networks.

60-minute session

Australia is leading the transition to a modern energy system to meet the country’s net-zero future through the rapid growth of consumer energy resources (CERs) including rooftop solar PV, battery energy storage systems, EV charging and other controllable loads.

Aggregators and retailers can capitalise on these CERs to facilitate emergency solar curtailment in cases of excessive generation and use the CERs for grid-balancing and VPP services. Real-time analytics can enable diversification to enhance reliability, resiliency, engagement and sustainability.

Access this recorded discussion, which will help you:

  • Understand how to cope with the massive CER scale and uncertainties of LV networks
  • Mitigate system security risks for solar export
  • Drive measurement, and then control, to the edge to enable real-time decisions related to impending hyper-local problems
