H2GLASS
H2GLASS aims to create the technology, i.e. burners and furnaces, that glass manufacturers need to realise 100% hydrogen combustion in their production facilities, while ensuring the required safety and product quality.
The developed technology will be combined with Digital Twin techniques for risk-based predictive maintenance, optimised production control, and combustion system control, which makes it first-of-its-kind as Digital Twin applications are not yet used for this use case. H2GLASS technology will be tested on a large scale under real conditions by 5 different industrial demonstrators from the European glass manufacturing industry as well as one replicability demonstrator from the aluminium sector.
