Areti Ntaradimou, editor of Smart Energy International & Content director Enlit Europe, speaks with Victor Dominguez Richards, the CEO of Arkossa, about the meaning and role of data in the digital age.
They discuss how data can empower utility operations and consumers to make informed energy consumption and management decisions. Victor Dominguez Richard also explores how data can be used by DSOs to optimize grid planning and by politicians in designing policies.
He said: “Data is much more than billing and the most important thing is ensuring that the data utilities have is quality data that they can use to respond to grid changes quickly.”
He reiterated that, however, utilities need to set up modern and advanced ecosystems to improve their data acquisition, processing and usage.
