Areva has supplied the final two spent fuel pool level instrumentation systems to a new plant in Taiwan.
Areva also verified the installation of the systems, which are in operation at the two reactors of Taiwan Power Corporation's Chinshan plant.
The spent fuel pool level instrumentation systems allow operators to ensure the facility's used nuclear fuel storage pools maintain the required level of water, even in adverse conditions.
The systems also meet the post-Fukushima requirements of the Taiwanese nuclear safety authority.
