Italy – leadership and excellence in energy
The Italian Pavilion at Enlit Europe 2025 will present 26 companies with innovative products and solutions for the energy transition.

As the energy transition deepens in the race for a net zero emission world, the system is becoming cleaner and greener, with wind power and solar PV rapidly replacing the large coal burning power plants that have provided electricity generation over the past many decades.
Along with this very visual change to the landscape are the less apparent changes to the grids and the infrastructures such as substations and transformers through which the electricity is transmitted and distributed.
Consumers too are facing changes as with smart appliances and more intelligent homes, they become active participants or prosumers in the energy system.
Underlying these developments is innovation in areas from materials to design and manufacturing and from IT to system integration.
At the forefront of these advances is Italy, with a strong network of startups and well-established companies that are enabling utilities and other energy sector players to deliver on their climate and sustainability goals.
This industry provides best in class technologies in many areas, enabling an integrated approach to deployment for improved operations and customer experience.
The Italian Pavillion at Enlit Europe
Enlit Europe 2025 convening in Bilbao in the heart of Spain’s Basque Country from 18-20 November is set to be the inclusive guide to the current status and future direction of the energy transition.
Bringing together more than 15,000 energy professionals, 700 exhibitors and 500 speakers from 140 countries, the event provides a forum for sounding out the latest advances in the field and technologies on the market and for sharing strategies, making deals and enhancing cross-border collaborations.
As part of the event, the Italian Trade Agency, in collaboration with the two associations Federazione ANIE and ANIMA (Confindustria) Meccanica Varia, is providing visitors with the opportunity to engage with a collective of 26 Italian companies in the Italian Pavilion on the exhibition floor.
The Italian Trade Agency is the governmental agency that supports the business development of Italian companies abroad and promotes the attraction of foreign investment in Italy.
ANIE (Federazione Nazionale Imprese Elettrotecniche ed Elettroniche) represents the Italian electrical engineering and electronics industry.
ANIMA represents the Italian mechanical sector covering energy and other supply chains including building technologies.
The Italian Pavilion will offer an opportunity for visitors to see first hand and talk to experts on the technologies and solutions they can deploy to advance their energy transitions.
The exhibiting companies will showcase everything from smart meters and smart grid monitoring and control technologies to solutions for renewable energy and hydrogen production, energy storage, environmental monitoring, digitalisation and metrology.
Innovation for energy
Whether contributing to cleaner energy generation or more intelligent network operation, Italy’s cutting-edge innovations are helping to drive the transformation of energy systems within Italy, more broadly within Europe and further afield in countries from North and South America to Asia and Australasia.
“The Italian Trade Agency warmly invites you to visit our pavilion to discover the excellence of Italian innovation in the energy sector,” says Giovanni Bifulco, Director, ITA Madrid.
“We are confident that Enlit Europe 2025 will be a valuable opportunity to strengthen partnerships and accelerate the development of sustainable energy solutions.”
