LAISON participated in the Kenya Water & Sanitation International Conference & Exhibition 2025. The event gathered experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to share knowledge and showcase innovative technologies supporting sustainable and climate-adaptive water and sanitation systems in Kenya.

Aligned with the conference’s objectives, LAISON showcased comprehensive smart metering and digital water management solutions tailored for domestic, commercial, and industrial users.

Our smart metering solutions feature prepayment functionality, advanced AMR/AMI remote meter data collection, unauthorized water usage detection and other advanced capabilities.

These solutions enable utilities to digitalize operations, improve operational efficiency, enhance revenue collection, and significantly reduce Non-Revenue Water (NRW).

Moreover, LAISON highlighted its intelligent leakage detection system, which integrates GIS management, District Metered Area (DMA) management, smart water pressure control, and noise logger detection technologies. This system accurately pinpoints leaks and helps minimize water losses effectively.

During the event, multiple Kenyan water utilities visited LAISON’s booth and engaged in detailed discussions about the challenges they face, with Non-Revenue Water (NRW) remaining a particularly pressing concern in Kenya. Our smart metering and leakage detection solutions generated strong interest and laid the groundwork for potential collaborations.

The Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation also visited LAISON’s booth, commending the innovation and practicality of our smart water solutions.

LAISON’s participation in the conference underscores its commitment to advancing smart water solutions in Kenya and across East Africa. In the future, LAISON will continue to strengthen cooperation with local governments and utilities to support the digital transformation of water services, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to long-term sustainability and climate resilience in the region.
