The BECO Y smart water meter leverages ultra-low-power LoRaWAN communication, enabling a battery lifespan of up to 15 years. Designed for high accuracy measurement, remote monitoring, and intelligent alerts, it effectively addresses challenges such as leakage, empty pipes, and backflow.

Integrated into BOVE’s Remote Reading and Controlling System (AMI) web platform, the solution allows utilities to benefit from centralised management and streamlined data export, significantly improving operational efficiency.

For installation and maintenance, two modes are offered – a test mode for accuracy testing and standard mode for day-to-day operation and triggering of alarms.

According to a recent report by Market.us, the global smart water management market is projected to reach USD 61.7 billion by 2034, growing at a CAGR of 12.5%.
