In June 2024, Sigfox SA was chosen to support South Africa's transition to smart water meters. The Sigfox network in South Africa covers over 91% of the population, with the potential for easy expansion or densification in the future if required.

1. Compatible with multiple types of meters like Multi-jet, Ultrasonic, etc.
2. Internal valve integrated for Prepaid working mode available, Prepaid & Postpaid working mode easily switchable
3. For Prepaid working mode, confirms to STS Protocol IEC62055-41, 51. Meter Recharge is done conveniently via Smartphone equipped with Laison-designed APP or reserved Bluetooth CIU.
4. Daily Automatic Meter Data Upload is customized within a 12-byte payload via Sigfox network, for example, Consumption Data, Battery Voltage, Alarm Event, etc.
5. Anti-tamper function includes Magnetic Interference, Water Leakage, Valve Failure, etc.
