The Enlit on the Road team visited the Start Up Energy Transition Festival in Berlin to explore the role startups can play in speeding up the energy transition.
Start Up Energy Transition (SET) is a global innovation platform, powered by the German Energy Agency (DENA), in cooperation with the World Energy Council, supporting innovation in energy transition.
We spoke to various startups and industry thought leaders, who all agreed that technology and ideas from startups have the ability to speed up the energy transition.

The chief executive of DENA, Andreas Kuhlmann, highlighted how rising energy prices are a catalyst for innovation, while Pia Dorfinger, director of the start-up ecosystem, emphasized that while many solutions already exist, they need to be scaled up.
