Kaifa deploys full utility portfolio to drive digital insights
Kaifa officially unveiled its 'Digital Insights, Full Utility' strategy during Enlit Europe 2025, presenting its vision for the future of global utilities.

The company showcased integrated smart solutions covering smart electricity, water, gas and battery energy storage systems, positioning Kaifa as a comprehensive partner for their digital transformation. Kaifa continues to focus on energy metering, concentrate on intelligent and digital energy management, empower the 'dual carbon' revolution in public utilities and provide globally leading smart energy management solutions.
As the European water sector develops further under climate and digitalisation policies, Kaifa highlighted its next generation ultrasonic water meter solutions. These products offer a generational advantage over traditional mechanical ones by eliminating mechanical wear, ensuring high accuracy unaffected by water quality and significantly reducing lifecycle costs. With real-time data transmission, they serve as a precise digital neural system for water networks.
"Ultrasonic water meters are more than measurement devices – they are gateways to smart water management," said Chunguo Wang, Head of Water and Gas Technology at Kaifa. "Together with European partners, we are exploring data driven algorithms for pipeline monitoring and network safety assessment."
In parallel, Kaifa is expanding its renewable energy portfolio in Europe, offering green, safe and flexible battery energy storage systems to address high electricity costs and enhance resilience.
"We deliver fully scalable solutions at core,” said Yan Xu, Head of Renewable Energy Business at Kaifa. “Energy storage is central to our renewable strategy.”
Security remains essential for European market access. Kaifa complies with rigorous regional standards, having passed certifications from Spain’s ITE and Tecnalia and Portugal’s Labelec. In recent PLC Prime interoperability tests in Iberia, Kaifa ranked first among all suppliers. The company also holds international certifications, including the ENCS (Netherlands) and CPA (UK), ensuring data security for different markets.
Globally, Kaifa combines local presence with worldwide synergy. In Iberia, local teams provide timely, customised support – shortening response times, streamlining maintenance and strengthening operational reliability. The company also invests in global production, including a recent $40 million manufacturing base in Brazil, complementing its branches in the UK, the Netherlands, Uzbekistan and China. This dual approach ensures local responsiveness backed by global supply stability.
Through its 'Digital Insights, Full Utility' strategy, Kaifa is committed to accelerating the future of smart energy by combining a global outlook with localised service and reliable quality products. Kaifa will continue to focus on energy metering, concentrate on intelligent and digital energy management, empower the 'Dual Carbon' revolution in public utilities, and provide globally leading smart energy management solutions.
