In this episode of the EU Projects Zone Podcast, Areti Ntaradimou talks to Nuno Mateus about the ways in which Smart2B will enable smarter buildings through innovative technologies.
Nuno Mateus is the Coordinator of Smart2B and in this podcast episode, explaining the objectives and innovations of the Horizon 2020-funded project.
"This project intends to develop a smart building ecosystem that aims to improve the smartness of an existing building" says Nuno.
"We are developing three main technological pillars including smart-to-be devices, platform, service and user interaction app" he adds.
The project's innovative technologies will interact with building occupants and the grid in real time and will manage themselves efficiently, so as to become an active element of the energy system.
As for the target audience of the project, according to Nuno "Since we are developing a full ecosystem, our technical audience includes from the end users to any other stakeholders in the energy sector".
